I'm Frank, a logistics technology intrapreneur based in The Netherlands. Since 2011, I've been digitizing port and hinterland operations—from building Fleet Management Systems and Barge Operating Systems to developing Port Community Platforms. I founded Cofano's Ho Chi Minh City office, where I introduced their port community platform and led the rollout of the company's products and brand across Vietnam. In 2025, I was brought in to establish QEWI, an AI/ML venture focused on solving complex optimization challenges in intermodal transportation networks.
My technical toolkit centers on Python, LLM applications, linear algorithms, and geospatial
network analysis—all applied to real-world problems in port, barge, rail, and truck logistics.
Currently, I'm developing AI-powered analytics platforms for terminal operators,
logistics planners, and port authorities. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring datasets and
building applications that push the boundaries of what's possible in logistics intelligence.

Positional Intelligence for Inland Waterways
Real-time vessel tracking with
statistical noise reduction and predictive gap-fillingBargeInsights solves a fundamental data
quality problem in inland waterway AIS: positional noise and reception gaps create unreliable
tracking data that makes operational planning difficult.
Planned Release, May 2026
Automated Maritime Intelligence Digests
Port Pulse transforms unstructured operational data
into structured intelligence narratives tailored to specific roles: terminal operators need
throughput trends, fleet managers need vessel utilization metrics, port authorities need
congestion patterns.
Planned Release, June 2026
We built a feature engineering pipeline that transforms raw position data into analytical features . Think of it as building a data warehouse specifically for barges which we can utilise for AI/ML models for your barge operations. Merging operational data from Barge Operator, Shippers or Terminals with our market data to offer commercial, operational and financial insights.
